Grant Hill the NBAs 1994-95 Rookie of the Year for the Detroit Pistons played a stellar 18-year professional career that included seven NBA All-Star Game appearances before he announced his retirement in June of 2013. This lot features his 1997-98 Pistons game-worn road alternate jersey. The front of the size 48 Nike Team Sports teal mesh with-black-red-and-yellow-trim jersey has the tackle-twill Pistons stitched across the black-gray appliqu horse insignia. Below is Hills number 33 in white with yellow-black trim. On the reverse Hill is stitched in tackle-twill teal across the shoulders. The left front tail sports the woven tags of NBA Authentic Nike Team Sports (with name/#/size) separate LENGTH +4/Made in USA tag and a black tag with the Pistons logo on it. Inside the left side seam are two tags one with the Nike Swoosh and year 1997 -98 the other with washing instructions. The woven NBA logo is stitched to the left shoulder strap. Jersey shows light evidence of game use. Hill boldly signed his name and uniform number (33) to the top of the left 3 on the jerseys back in black Sharpie (grade 7-8/10).
