1997-98 Edmonton Oilers road navy blue jersey game-worn and signed by 20-year NHL veteran center Doug Weight. Weight has signed the white number on the back in 8-9/10 black felt tip pen. Weight had 26 goals and 44 assists in 79 games for the 1997-98 Oilers. Large Oilers logo alternate captain's "A" and American flag patches all sewn on front. "30" and Edmonton Oilers "Oil Worker" patches sewn on both sleeves. "WEIGHT" in white with red trim sewn on plate and large "39" in white with red trim sewn on back. Fight strap attached. CCM and NHL logo patches sewn on back waistband. CCM Size 56 and RMC Sports of Edmonton Alberta Canada tags all sewn in back of collar. A hidden blue tag with "EDMONTON OILERS SET #1 97/98 RMC Sports" is sewn inside the back waist band. Jersey exhibits excellent wear with four team repairs (one 2" by left shoulder numbers) and contact marks from stick slashes and board burns throughout.
