The San Francisco 49ers celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1996 by rounding up many of the greats from their storied past for a reunion that would celebrate one of the most successful franchises in the history of the NFL and arguably the greatest team over the course of the final two decades of the 20th century a club that piled up 16 straight winning seasons and won a total of five Super Bowls over that span. With that sterling resume comes this striking pristine official Riddell VSR-4 Proline 49ers helmet to tell that story filled as it is with 39 autographs from some of the legendary names from several generations. The history-making ball club featured a roster that included the likes of Joe Montana Joe Perry Roger Craig Leo Nomellini Dave Wilcox Randy Cross Bryant Young Tim McDonald Abe Woodson and Charles Haley; many of the 49er greats attended the reunion and planted blazing black Sharpie autographs on the pristine Riddell helmet a group that included Hall of Famers Jerry Rice Steve Young Ronnie Lott Randy Kirk Bill Rathman and more. As noted the helmet is essentially as-issued and problem free; includes Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
