Mark McGwire's final season with the Oakland A's in 1996 was one of his best. He led the American league in home runs with 52, on base percentage (.467), slugging percentage (.730), and OPS (1.198). Big Mac also batted .312 and drove in 113. He finished seventh in AL MVP voting. McGwire's efforts earned him an All Star nod and Silver Slugger. 

 

Offered is McGwire's Rawlings Adirondack 'MAC25' bat from that statistically staggering 1996 season. The massive 34.5 inch, 33.1 oz. ash club is uncracked and has evidence of excellent use, according to John Taube of PSA/DNA. The bat has been given a PSA/DNA GU 9, and has also been authenticated by MLB Authentication Services (YP213665)(PFT).

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
