Offered here is a 1996 Mark McGwire Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick 'MAC 25' professional model bat autographed by the slugging giant. In Big Mac's final full season with the Oakland A's, he set a then career-high in homers with 52 to lead the American League. He also batted a career-best .312 and led the AL in OBP, Slugging, and OPS. The ash bat features a Rawlings logo at center and "BIG STICK", "MARK MCGWIRE", and "OAKLAND A'S" on the barrel. McGwire has signed the bat along the barrel with "#25" inscribed. The un-cracked bat has blue bat rack scuff marks and a light coat of pine tar on the handle and center brand, yet it has been deemed just "game ready" by expert authenticator John Taube. The knob end is stamped with "MAC 25" (model), "141" (order #) and "96" (year); it also has "TWO FIVE" (Mark's jersey number) in black marker. Weight is 31.3 oz. and length is 34.5".
