Featured here is a 1996 game-worn jersey and pants set from Harris Barton a fixture on the San Francisco offensive line for 10 seasons and a member of three Super Bowl squads. Barton was a first-round pick of the 49ers in 1987 and the 22nd pick overall. During his pro career he played 138 career NFL games including 89 consecutive games. The jersey is a white mesh with white spandex rib panels. Barton's No. 79 appears in red gold and black tackle twill on the front back and shoulders. "Barton" is done in black gold and red tackle twill on a white nameplate on the back; the embroidered Reebok logo patches appear on each sleeve. Both sleeves have been custom cut and hemmed. The colorful San Francisco 50th Anniversary embroidered patch is affixed to the left shoulder with the iconic NFL shield logo at the bottom of the custom neck. A Size 52 Reebok tag is featured on the collar with "100 % Polyester" attached small flag tag. Crotch flap still intact and problem-free. The jersey shows awesome wear with significant staining/soiling (blood?) to the left sleeve front & back numbers and shirttail.
The Reebok-tagged Size 40 pants also show heavy wear with grass staining and perspiration discoloration. There is also a rather large reddish stain on the left butt cheek. Small XL and Reebok tag on the inside of the belt. A "79" appears handwritten on the inside of the waist. Black and red elastic striping alternates down each leg. Embroidered Reebok logo patch is sewn on the front right and the NFL shield logo patch appears on the left. Belt laces and all other elements appear intact and largely as-issued.
