Brett Favre gets most of the credit for bringing championship glory back to Titletown, and rightfully so. Green Bay defeated New England by the score of 35-21 in Super Bowl XXXI for third title, ending a 29-year drought after Lombardi’s Packers took the first two Super Bowls. If you ask Cheeseheads, most will admit the ‘Ole Gunslinger wasn’t even on the field for the game’s biggest play. After the Patriots closed the deficit to 27-21 in the 3rd quarter, Desmond Howard ran the ensuing kickoff back 99 yards for a touchdown, killing any momentum the Pats thought they had. Linebacker Lamont Hollinquest threw the initial key block to spring Howard free on his way to pay dirt – and MVP honors.

Recognized as a vocal leader of the defense and special teams, Hollinquest played in all 16 regular season games for the ’96 Packer, even recording an interception. For his important contributions he received this gorgeous Super Bowl XXXI 10-karat gold ring boasting approximately five dozen diamonds (we count 55) to create the famed Packers “G” logo on the face, with the words, "World Champions," surrounded by another three dozen diamonds (we count 38) along the perimeter. One shank has “Packers 1996 Tradition" in raised relief, while the other has “HOLLINQUEST” and his No. “56” along with a Packers helmet and the team's 16-3 final record. Interior band hallmarked "10K" with the Jostens logo. The size 11 ring weighs 50 grams. It shows more internal than external wear, yet still presents in outstanding shape overall.
