In 1996 NBA center Shaquille ONeal embarked on a new crusade with his second professional team the Los Angeles Lakers. The team finished the 1996-97 regular season with a record of 56-26 and Shaq led the Lakers in both scoring (26.2) and rebounding (12.5) per game. This lot includes a pair of his game-worn Reebok (size 22) shoes from that inaugural season in L.A. The white-purple-and-beige shoes show moderate use and include Shaqs signature and uniform number (34) in black Sharpie on the left side of both shoes. The autographs are slightly streaky but still rate 7-8/10 in our book.
