One of the most celebrated moments in modern sports history is documented in this original Type I photograph from Michael Jordan's legendary 1995 "Comeback" season, showing him jogging upcourt in his Air Jordan X sneakers and unfamiliar #45 jersey, worn briefly upon his initial return from his first retirement.

 

PSA has authenticated the image as a genuine Type I print, confirming its development from the original negative within two years of capture, the most desirable classification in sports photography collecting. The image captures the surreal novelty of seeing Jordan in a number other than 23, a brief but historically significant chapter before he reverted to his familiar digits. The packed arena and NBC broadcast signage in the background help anchor the photograph's authenticity and period accuracy. A historically rich photograph documenting one of the most talked-about wardrobe changes in NBA history.
