Easily one of the top sluggers in the major leagues through the 1990's Matt Williams managed to put up Cooperstown-tempting career numbers: 378 home runs and 1218 RBI in a 17-year career with the San Francisco Giants the Cleveland Indians and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Williams played in a World Series for each of these teams thus becoming the only player to hit at least one World Series home run for three different teams. With such a solid resume comes this standout Giants grey game-worn road jersey. On the front left tail is a RUSSELL ATHLETIC Size 46 manufacturers tag with washing instructions and a "100 % Polyester" flag tag attached. Across the front reads SAN FRANCISCO and the back is player No. 9. Above reads the player name "Williams" on a grey nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in the same black on orange tackle twill. Williams signed the jersey on the back near his No. 9 with an elegant black Sharpie presentation. On the right sleeve is a Russell Athletic logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged shows light game use. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Newport Sports Museum.
