Junior played all but part of one of his 22 seasons with either the Seattle Mariners or the Cincinnati Reds. In 1997 his 56 HR 147 RBI and .304 BA earned him the American League Most Valuable Player Award while with Seattle. His 630 career Home Runs place him 6th on the All Time list. 13 times an All Star winner of 10 Gold Gloves recipient of 7 Silver Slugger Awards and 4-time American League Home Run Champ make him a lock for the Hall of Fame.
This eye catching teal Seattle Mariners home alternate jersey was worn by the future Hall of Famer during the 1995 season. It features metallic silver tackle twill numbers and lettering including the Mariners team name across the chest. Russell Athletic Diamond Collection size 46 and "95" year tags appear on the front tail. Mariners team patch appears on the left sleeve and a special Negro Leagues 75th Commemorative Year patch appears on the right sleeve. Griffey has signed the back in blue felt tip pen. Jersey is 100% original and shows typical light usage wear consistent with alternate jerseys of this type.
An accompanying COA dated 10/1/95 is signed by Griffey Jr. himself.
