Pair of San Diego Chargers painted game balls presented to Pro Football Hall of Famer Junior Seau.
9/17/1995 Chargers 27 Eagles 21. In the 2nd quarter Seau forced a fumble recovered and returned it 29 yards for a touchdown to put the Bolts ahead 17-14. The Eagles never regained the lead and and the Chargers prevailed 27-21 at Veterans Stadium. Seau finished with 13 tackles.
9/24/1995 Chargers 17 Broncos 6. Seau had 9 tackles in the Chargers' dominant defensive effort against their Rocky Mountain rivals as they shut down John Elway and the Broncos 17-6 at Jack Murphy Stadium. Some cracking to paint on this ball.
Both balls could use some air.
Sourced from Seau's Restaurant in San Diego which closed following his tragic death in 2012.
