Hall of Fame slugger Frank Thomas launched a total of 521 home runs during his 19-year career in the majors the majority (16) of those seasons coming as a member of the Chicago White Sox. This lot features Thomass 1995 Chicago Cubs game-worn home jersey a season in which he batted .308 launched 40 round-trippers and drew a league-best 136 walks. The size 48 Russell Athletic Authentic Diamond Collection jersey includes the proper manufacturing tagging on the front left tail next to which are two strip tags one reading 100% Polyester and the other reading 35-48-95 to indicate the uniform number waist size and season. Sewn onto the left breast of the white jersey with black pinstripes is the Sox team logo in black on gray tackle twill while his uniform number (35) is positioned on the jersey fronts right side in similar tackle twill fashion. On the left sleeve is a Comiskey Park embroidered patch while the left sleeve sports a special embroidered patch celebrating the teams 95 years in existence. The jersey shows good game use with what appears to be pine tar and dirt stains on the back. His numbers on the reverse which measure eight inches tall are in black on gray tackle twill.
