Though he appeared in only 87 games in 1994 500 Home Run Club member Gary Sheffield socked 27 homers that curious season shortened by the players' strike one of his highest home runs per at-bat ratios in his sterling 22-year career. This game-worn jersey is from that historic season: it shows good game use and yet remains in impeccable condition with Size 48 Russell Athletic tagging on the front and pristine examples of MLB's 125th Anniversary patch on the left shoulder and the Marlins patch on the right. Beneath his No. 10 on the front Sheffield has supplied a black Sharpie autograph; the jersey is in largely as-issued and problem-free condition save only for the lightest fraying of some of the black stitching around the letters front and back and Sheffield's No. 10 on the back.
