This is a striking twice-signed game-worn home jersey from one of the Dodgers great sluggers from the 1990s Eric Karros. The 1992 National League Rookie of the Year with a career batting average just under .270 and an average of almost 25 home runs a year. No Dodger in the organization's history compiled more 30 home run 100 RBI seasons than Karros (five matched only by Duke Snider and Gil Hodges). His career 270 home runs as a Dodger remains the third most in the team's history. Karros donned the shirt during the strike-shortened season of 1994 when he batted .266 with 14 homers and 46 RBIs. This white knit button-down garment features "Dodgers" angled across the chest in blue-on-white tackle twill. Applied to the front in red tackle twill is Karros No. 23 with his number and his name "Karros" in blue-on-white on the reverse. Situated on the inside left front tail is a "RAWLINGS" manufacturers label with attached size "48" and Set 2 1994 tags. Also stitched into the tail is a 1 inch extra length flag tag. The shirts shows game use with some light fraying of the stitching on his No. 23 on the front and the scripted Dodgers on the front. The MLB 125th Anniversary patch is missing from the right shoulder. Karros has signed twice on the shirt front and back with a handsome black Sharpie signature on each side. Comes with a
Letter of Authenticity from the Newport Sports Museum.
