Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino spent 17 season in the NFL lining up behind center for the Miami Dolphins. His induction into Canton in 2000 was a foregone conclusion at the time of his retirement with numbers that included 420 passing touchdowns and 61361 passing yards. This lot includes his 1994 game-worn Miami Dolphins home jersey from the NFL's 75th Anniversary season a campaign in which the rocket launcher threw for 4453 yards and 30 touchdown strikes.

The home aqua-colored jersey is made of highly sheened mesh with stretch spandex sides and vertical seam support panels. The jersey is sporting the NFL's embroidered "75th Anniversary" patch on the front left in proper low position as well as the '94 year swatch stitched inside the rear collar below the Wilson manufacturer's tagging (size 50) in appropriate fashion. The sleeves are QB open with right-sleeve classic Marino cut seam open-style floppy with extra underarm customization. Marino's iconic uniform number "13" is sewn on in two-color white on orange tackle twill on the front back and both sleeves. His last name - "MARINO" - is sewn onto a aqua-colored nameplate in an orange/white tackle twill font unique to the Dolphins. The Dolphins' sleeve logos are affixed in their traditional location above the sleeve stripes and just beneath the major horizontal transverse shoulder seam. The jersey reflects light but appropriate QB wear. Some slight fraying and puckering of the numerals are evident. Marino has added a nearly perfect 9-10/10 signature in black Sharpie with his No. "13" inscribed on the back '1'.

Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
