Coming out of NC State in 1992 Tom Gugliotta bounced around from the Bullets to the Warriors trying to find his place in the NBA before he was eagerly snatched up by Minnesota. With the T-Wolves "Googs" enjoyed the finest years of his career including his career best in 96-97 when he averaged 20.6 PPG. Gugliotti wore this jersey during the 1994-95 season his first with the Timberwolves.
The royal blue mesh jersey has “WOLVES and Gugliotta’s number “24” on the chest in green and white tackle twill. Blue white and green ribbing trims the neck and arm openings. A Champion size 48 label is sewn in the lower left front tail with “SET 2” hand written in faded black marker. A Champion/Timberwolves team label with “+3” notation. The back features “GUGLIOTTI” in individual white tackle twill letters and his number “24” in green and white tackle twill. Cleaning labels with a hand written “2” is found inside the left inseam of the jersey. The jersey show good game use with some puckering to the letters and several loose threads throughout.
The matching blue shorts have a size “40” Champion label inside the waist band and a Champion/Timberwolves team label with “=1” rise and “+2” inseam notations. “24” and “94-95” are hand written in faded black marker. The sides of the jersey have the Timberwolves logo patch and the leg and waist opening are ringed in blue white and green ribbing. The shorts show good game use with sever loose threads and a light stain adjacent the left of the patch on the left leg.
