Mitch Richmond was a six-time NBA All-Star a five-time All-NBA Team member and a former NBA Rookie of the Year. In 976 NBA games Richmond averaged 21.0 points per game and 3.5 assists per game. He has the highest number of career points of any eligible player who has not been elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame.
This striking white home shirt has "Kings" and his No. 2 in purple silver and black stacked tackle twill on the front and his No. 2 on the back in the same configuration. "Richmond" appears on the back across the shoulders in purple tackle twill. The well-known NBA logo patch appears on the upper left front. Tagging on the front-left tail includes a Champion Size 42 manufacturer's label and a second Champion "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Sacramento Kings" label with "Body Length +3" directly adjacent. The collar and armpits of the jersey have the distinctive purple silver and black knit trim. The jersey shows game use and is essentially problem-free with only a whisper of fraying of some of the white stitching around one of the Champion tags and at the bottom of the tail itself. There is also a bit of fraying of the black stitching around his number on the back and the purple stitching on the player name lettering on the back. Richmond has signed in silver Sharpie on the back in the middle of his uniform number adding his No. 2 inscription.
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Sacramento Kings and a Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum Collection.
