This is the jersey number that stirred up all the fuss when Michael Jordan returned to the Chicago Bulls in 1994 after his retirement and this Pro Cut home jersey featuring the elusive number is a great Jordan tribute piece. With three NBA titles already tucked under his arm Jordan stepped away from the game to take a whack at baseball. Ultimately the pressures to return to a game a bit more suited to his extraordinary talents was too much and Jordan chose to forego his traditional No. 23 upon returning to the Bulls in favor of No. 45 a uniform number he had worn as a scholastic player. This experiment not unlike the baseball sojourn was cut short and Jordan ended up wearing No. 45 for only 22 NBA games. This Pro Cut home jersey has Bulls across the chest in black and white tackle twill the same scheme for his No. 45 front and back and Jordan across the back. It is trimmed in white black and red elastic on the yokes and collar and has the iconic NBA logo on the left yoke. Champion tagging (Size 46) is on the front tail in adjoining tags with Body Length +3 added. The shirt is in outstanding condition problem-free and without evidence of alteration of any description. Truly an important memorabilia connection to a typically boisterous Michael Jordan peripheral saga. Jersey was obtained by the consignor directly from a former employee of the United Center home of the Chicago Bulls. The jersey was acquired sometime between 1995 and 1998 the years of his employment at the United Center.
