This awesome road blue CCM jersey was game-worn by Keith Tkachuk during the 1994-95 NHL season. Tkachuk played with four teams (three franchises) and made five All-Star teams over his illustrious 19-year career. He is one of only five American-born players to score 500 goals and is the sixth American to score 1000 points. A member of the 1992 Olympic team Tkachuk is considered by many to be one of the greatest U.S.-born players in NHL history.
The game use on this size 54 sweater is simply incredible consisting of numerous stick slash marks board burns and paint transfers from pucks and player contact. It appears we have a photo-match as well (Getty 72559127) from a Jan. 27 1995 game at The Pond against the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Black markings on the left sleeve "7" and front tail are both matches. Maska tag appears at the collar alongside small "54" flag tag nearby. The Jets logo appears at the front in red white and blue tackle twill and the captain's "C" is in white tackle twill on the left shoulder. "Jets Goals for Kids" patch appears on the left sleeve. "TKACHUK" is in white tackle twill letters on a blue nameplate above his white No. "7" on the back and sleeves. Shirt has CCM and NHL shield logo patches on the back tail and red and white highlight stripes on the sleeves and lower body.
Comes with Letter of Authenticity from Winnipeg Jets plus a Letter of Provenance from Newport Sports Museum.
