This lot features an artifact from "The Admiral" himself NBA Hall of Famer David Robinson who helped turn the San Antonio Spurs into one of the most consistent NBA powerhouses. The Hall of Famer averaged 21.1 ppg in his career but this sparkling game-used David Robinson San Antonio Spurs home jersey traces its roots to the 1994-95 season. During that campaign Robinson started 81 regular-season games and averaged 27.6 points and 10.8 boards per outing.
The Size 46 shirt shows light game use and sports the appropriate Champion tagging at the front-left tail alongside the "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for San Antonio Spurs" tag with the year ("95-95") and "Body Length +4." There is slight fraying of any of the stitching on the attractive Spurs lettering on the front in silver and black tackle twill or on the black tackle twill lettering "ROBINSON" on the back. The Admiral's trademark uniform number "50" comes through loud and clear on the front and back in black tackle twill outlined in silver. The jersey is in terrific condition throughout including the intricate alternating silver white and black knit on the collar and shoulders. The iconic embroidered NBA logo man patch completes the jersey as it appears on the front left collar.
