Featured here is a 1993 Montreal Expos home pinstriped jersey game-worn by beloved manager Felipe Alou. The oldest member of the famed Alou trio of brothers from the Dominican Republic Felipe played 17 MLB seasons (1958-74) and finished with 2101 hits 985 runs 359 doubles 206 home runs and a lifetime .286 average with the Giants Braves A's Yankees Expos and Brewers. He was joined in San Francisco by his two brothers - Matty in 1960 and Jes’ºs in 1963 - who on Sept. 15 of '63 became the first and only all-brother outfield. Felipe went on to coach and manage in the big leagues for 30 years (1976-2006) including managerial jobs with the Montreal Expos (1992-2001) and S.F. Giants (2003-06). He managed the Expos when his son Moises was called up and began his lengthy playing career that lasted exactly 17 years like his father and included 6 All-Star game appearances - 3 more than Felipe.

The white button-down pinstripe home gamer has "Russell Athletic" manufacturers size 46 labeling on the left front tail. Attached below is the "100% Polyester" flag tag and "1993" strip tag. Across the front is "EXPOS." On front and back is the number "17" and across the back is the manager's name "ALOU" sewn directly on the jersey.
