Featured here is Curtis Conway's Chicago Bears game-worn and autographed home jersey from his 1992 rookie season. Conway was a star wide receiver for the Trojans before being drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 1st round (#7 overall) in 1993. He went over 1000 yards receiving three times in the NFL. The black #80 nylon mesh Champion jersey (size 44) has #80 on the front back and sleeves and "CONWAY" on back in white with orange outline. Three stripes in same design on each sleeve with Champion logo above the numbers. GSH on left sleeve only to honor George S. Halas. NFL logo patch at V-neck. Champion/Chicago Bears tagging at left shirttail with "1993" year call-out. "80" marked in black. Adjacent laundry instructions tag with Size "44." Bottom of jersey has been custom cut and hemmed as game mid-late 1990's game photos of Conway show. He has signed the back '8' in 7/10 black marker. Jersey exhibits consistent wear throughout.
Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
