Feature here is a special trio of bats honoring an incredible feat in baseball history that may never be repeated. In 1993 John Olerud (.363) Paul Molitor (.332) and Roberto Alomar (.326) of the Toronto Blue Jays finished 1-2-3 in the American League batting race - the first time in 100 years that the top three hitters in the league were from the same team. Apparently none of them could have done it without the help of hitting guru Gene Tenace who served as batting instructor and bench coach for the Blue Jays from 1990-97 (even a short managerial stint in 1991). Olerud and Molitor each gifted Tenace one of their 1993 game-used bats while Alomar gave him an unused pro model bat - all signed and inscribed by the pupils to their teacher and mentor. Very cool to see three big league studs including two Hall of Famers put their egos aside and show appreciation for an elder statesman who surely taught them a thing or two during his tenure in Toronto. It's no wonder the Blue Jays won their 2nd straight World Series in '93.

1) John Olerud 1993 Rawlings Adirondack signature model game-used ash bat. 34" and 32.2 oz. On knob is "32 Olerud" marked in blue ballpoint and Olerud's no. "9" in black marker along with "433B" model "325" (weight) and "93" (year) stampings. Olerud has signed the barrel and personalized it "To Gino Thanks for everything" in 9/10 black marker. Uncracked bat shows solid game use with ball cleat and rack marks.

2) Paul Molitor 1993 Cooper H176 signature model game-used bat two-toned with black finish. On knob is "34" (length) and "32 1/2 OZ" (weight) stampings plus something illegible in black. Molitor has signed the barrel and personalized it "To Gino - Too bad we were never teammates - My Best Always" in 9-10/10 silver marker. Uncracked bat shows solid game use with several contact marks that have left white streaks.

3) Roberto Alomar Cooper C271 signature model game-ready bat two-toned with black finish. "1992 American League Championship Series Most Valuable Player" stamped on barrel in white. The 33.5" bat weighs in at 29 oz. Alomar has signed his name and number "12" on the barrel in 9/10 silver along with "To Gene Tenace All the best." Barely a scratch on this beauty. We are calling it game issued/ready but the ALCS MVP stamp could signify that it's just commemorative.

Includes LOA from Gene Tenace. Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
