1992 Mark McGwire autographed Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick Professional Model bat used by the Oakland A's slugger to belt home run #39 of the season and 217 lifetime in the September 18 1992 game versus the Seattle Mariners. McGwire has signed the barrel in 8/10 black felt tip pen. After McGwire went deep in the 1st inning using this bat he broke the bat in his next AB when he fouled off an 0-2 pitch. This occurred at the 39 minute mark of the video. At the 1 hour 59 minute mark the bat boy can be seen in the A's dugout sliding the cracked bat under the bench. Included is a VHS copy of the 9/18/1992 Oakland vs. Seattle game televised on ESPN. Bat measures 34 1/2 inches long and weighs 33 ounces. "256B" and "201 92" stamped into top of knob. "'33 McGwire" in blue pen also present. Bat displays extensive game use with pine tar stains on handle ball stitch cleat and bat rack marks on the barrel. Large very heavy handle crack running about 12 inches from the handle to the barrel.

LOA from the Bat Boy who obtained the bat. LOA from JSA for Autograph. LOA from Vintage Sports Equipment Inc.(Dave Bushing) for bat.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
