Jeff Kent's 1992 Fleer Update rookie card documents the early days of a player who would go on to become the all-time home run leader among second basemen. This example, graded PSA NM-MT 8, shows Kent in a sharp infield-ready stance wearing his original New York Mets uniform, years before his star turn — and 2000 NL MVP award — with the San Francisco Giants. The teal-bordered design and bold vertical "KENT" lettering make this a visually striking entry from the early-1990s Fleer Update set.

 

The reverse details his acquisition by the Mets as part of the David Cone trade with Toronto, along with his standout 1991 season at Knoxville, where he led the Southern League in doubles and a second baseman in assists. A well-preserved rookie card of a future Hall of Fame candidate, captured before his breakout years.
