The 1992-93 season proved to one of the greatest in Montreal Canadiens history. Thought they only finished in third place in the Adams Division they stormed through the playoffs to win the franchise24th Stanley Cup by steamrolling the L.A. Kings four game to one in the finals. Through it all the team had one constant: Patrick Roy in goal. Royoutstanding steady play during the regular season rolled right over into the postseason as he was named the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy which goes to the Most Valuable Player in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. This is Royofficial home white Canadiens CCM jersey from that epic season. The polyester jersey certainly shows some fraying as well as ample puck marks and/or stick marks across the back near his nameplate spelling "ROY." He has signed the jersey in black marker across the left side of the chest and added his uniform number (#33). The signature shows ample fading through the years. This jersey is extra special because it includes that seasonAll-Star Game patch on the front since the NHL All-Star Game was played at the Forum in Montreal.
Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
