The 1992-93 NBA season played out like case of déjà again with the Chicago Bulls winning their third-straight championship thanks in large part to the Herculean efforts of the greatest player on the planet Michael Jordan. MJ took home another scoring title (one of ten in his career) averaging 32.6 points per game to go along with 6.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists. In the ‘93 Finals against Phoenix Jordan averaged an insane 41 points 8.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists as Chicago completed the rare “three-peat” to join the Minneapolis Lakers and Boston Celtics as the only other NBA franchises to do so. That is still the case. It would be the first of two epic three-peats that decade for ‘Da Bulls. In each of Jordan’s six Finals appearances he was named MVP of the series. Simply perfection. MJ was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2009 for his NBA accomplishments and again in 2010 for being a member of the 1992 Olympic “Dream Team.”
Offered here is Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls game-worn road jersey from the historic ’92-93 season. On the front left tail is the proper Champion tagging with size “46” and washing instructions. Adjacent is another manufacturer’s tag with the NBA logo and “1992-93 Designed and Tailored Exclusively For CHICAGO BULLS” plus the BODY LENGTH +3” label. On the left upper chest is the NBA embroidered logo patch. Across the chest is “BULLS” with the iconic “23” appearing front and back; “JORDAN” is arched across the back. All numbering and lettering are done in black-on-white tackle twill sewn directly onto the red mesh jersey. It displays solid game wear with noticeable stretching in the neck and arms plus significant puckering and fraying of the letters and numbers both front and back.
