"Hawk" was the second scoring option after Charles Barkley and a popular figure in the City of Brotherly for fully half of his standout 12-year career. Hawkins earned NBA All-Rookie First Team Honors in 1989. In 1991 he averaged 22.1 points and appeared in the NBA All-Star Game.
On the left front tail is the Champion manufacturers tag with wash instructions and jersey size 44. Adjacent is a second Champion tag with 1992-93 Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Philadelphia 76ers Body Length +3. Across the front is PHILADELPHIA 76ers screened onto the shirt red and white above the red white and blue "star shower" on the right-hand side of the red mesh jersey. His No. 33 appears on both the front and back in white on blue tackle twill. Player name Hawkins appears on back in white tackle twill block lettering. On the left breast is the official NBA embroidered logo. Hawkins has added a nice black Sharpie autograph on the front below his number adding his No. 33 inscription. The jersey is properly tagged and shows light use.
