Beautiful 10K Gold University of Michigan 1991 Big Ten Championship ring presented to Wolverine running back Dennis Washington following the 1992 Rose Bowl. In 1991 Michigan went a perfect 8-0 in conference play to capture the Big Ten Championship and earn a trip to Pasadena on New Year's Day 1992. In the Rose Bowl Michigan was beaten 34-14 by the undefeated and #1 ranked (Coaches poll) Washington Huskies yet still finished the collegiate season with a 10-2 record. Large gold "M" atop a dark blue oval stone with "BIG TEN CHAMPIONS" surrounding. On one side is "WASHINGTON" "24" and a raised image of a Michigan helmet with green enamel highlights. Other side has "1991 ROSE BOWL" "10-2" and a raised image of the Rose Bowl logo with red and green enamel highlights. Inside engraved "Big Ten Champions 1988 1989 1990 1991 100%" and "JOSTENS 10K". Ring size 12. Weight 38 grams. Ring is in outstanding condition.
