Dominique Wilkins wore this jersey during the 1991 Ervin “Magic” Johnson All-Star Charity Game at the Forum in Los Angeles. The event was a fund raiser for the United Negro College Fund and pitted Magic’s team coached by filmmaker Spike Lee against a team coached by talk show host Arsenio Hall on which Wilkins played. The royal blue mesh jersey has “MAGIC JOHNSON ALL STAR GAME” encircling Wilkins’ number “21” in white appliqué. Wilkins has signed the “2” in black marker. White appliqué stars run down each side of the jersey and the neck and arm openings are trimmed with red white and blue ribbing. A Champion size “42” label is sewn in the lower left front tail. The back of the jersey has “WILKINS” and his number “21” in white appliqué. There is a “3” EXTRA LENGTH” tag inside the jersey. The jersey shows great game use with some fading from laundering.
