ADDENDUM: JERSEY SHOWS NO WEAR; IT IS GAME-ISSUED FOR 1990 SEASON. THIS MINIMUM BID HAS BEEN ADJUSTED.
Presented here is a 1990 Joe Montana San Francisco 49ers jersey game-issued home jersey signed by the Hall of Fame and 4-time Super Bowl winning quarterback. His famous "16" is on the front back and sleeves in white tackle twill. His last name is sewn on red nameplate on back. Red Wilson "W" appears where it should on the left sleeve. There is no NFL shield logo on the V-neck collar as the league began adding this in 1991. The Wilson tag on the left shirttail has both "46" and "CW" flag tags. Montana has signed the back '1' in 8/10 blue marker. The jersey shows no wear and has been deemed game-issued or game-ready. Montana was named SI's Sportsman of the Year in 1990 after leading the 49ers to a league best 14-2 record. However they lost to the NY Giants in the NFC title game in which Montana injured his elbow forcing him to miss the entire 1991 season - his last in San Francisco.
