This is a striking team-issued Greg Lemond yellow jersey in matching style to that worn in his third Tour de France in 1990. In 1986 LeMond became the first non-European professional cyclist to win the Tour de France and is the only American to win the Tour. He claimed his third and final Tour victory in 1990 which made LeMond one of only seven riders who have won three or more Tours. He retired from competition in December 1994 and was inducted into the United States Bicycling Hall of Fame in 1996. The blazing yellow jersey has Credit Lyonnais imprinted in navy blue at the left breast and along each side and on the back. Tags of "M" and "Made in Italy" appear at the collar and a Castelli logo is imprinted on the right shoulder and on both sleeves. Shirt has elastic sleeves and tail; whimsical "Z" logo appears front and back with "Vetements enfants" in script imprinted in black. Lemond has signed in black marker on the front with inscription "To Dave Good Luck" added. Shirt appears to in largely as-issued and problem-free condition.

From 1986-2002 Dave Rahn served an integral role within the San Francisco 49ers organization. Starting as a public relations and media coordinator he soon took over as director of travel and team services where he was responsible for all football operations including travel and accommodations practice schedules lodging and meal planning. He later managed the concert tours for Fleetwood Mac Sheryl Crow and Lionel Richie. In 2014 Dave Rahn passed away after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer. "He was like a wheel and all these spokes from those years came from him" said his close friend former linebacker Gary Plummer. "He kept the 49ers family from those times together." His collection includes dozens of 49ers game-worn and autographed items gifted by the many players and staff members who were loyal friends to Dave and will forever remain close to his loving family.
