The 1990 Cincinnati Reds stunned the defending champion Oakland Athletics with one of the most unexpected sweeps in World Series history, going wire-to-wire to claim the title.

 

The presented ring, in 10K gold with a size 10 shank, features the Reds' interlocked "C" logo set in a deep ruby-red oval stone surrounded by a ring of diamonds on the face. One shank bears "SWEEP 4-0" and the World Series trophy engraving, while the opposite shank reads "ZIMMERMAN / WIRE TO WIRE." The ring was awarded to the Scouting Supervisor for Northern California, making it a genuine front-office piece from one of baseball's most surprising championship teams. Comes with original presentation box. A rare and tangible piece of Big Red Machine history from the franchise's most recent World Series crown. Weighs 36.37 grams.
