This handsome road jersey was worn by Los Angeles Kings left winger Tony Granato in his second season on the West Coast arguably one of his finest campaigns in a sterling 13-year career for the prolific scorer as he had one of his highest point totals at 64. After playing with the Rangers Kings and Sharks he closed his career with a total of 492 total points. The white knit road jersey has the Maska label on the collar; the Los Angeles Kings logo patch is featured on the front in black and white embroidery on silver tackle twill. The knit shirt has gray-and-black highlighted striping on the sleeves and near the waist with the embroidered CCM logo patch and the NHL logo patch at the bottom of the shirt back right. Granato's No. 21 is on the back in silver-on-black stacked tackle twill with his name above in the same configuration and affixed to a white nameplate. His No. 21 is featured on both sleeves as well in this instance with a silver-on-white tackle twill scheme. The shirt shows good game use with a number of stick marks and occasional small stain most notably on the sleeves and several team repairs and small holes.
The lot includes a Letter of Authenticity from the Los Angeles Kings plus a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
