During the 1990-91 NBA season while playing in his first of two seasons with the Denver Nuggets 6’ 9” forward Orlando Woolridge turned in his most productive scoring campaign in history: 25.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Despite his impressive offensive outburst the Nuggets struggled to a 20-62 record and found themselves out of the playoff picture.
This lot features Woolridge’s autographed and game-worn Denver Nuggets road jersey from that outstanding individual season. On the left front tail of the blue mesh jersey is the proper "Champion" manufacturer's tag with size "46." Adjacent to that is a Sand-Knit tag reading: "Designed & Tailored exclusively for the DENVER NUGGETS." To the left of that is a white cloth tag with "90” in black chain-stitching to reflect the start of the season. On the right inseam is the "100% NYLON" tag. On the left chest is the official NBA logo embroidered in red white and blue. Across the front reads "Nuggets" in white tackle twill lettering outlined in blue and yellow as is his uniform number "0" in similar fashion on the left chest area. The Nuggets colorful stripes wrap around the mid-section of the jersey (front and back) and include a white tackle twill design of the Rocky Mountains across the front. Across the back is the player name "WOOLRIDGE" in gold tackle twill sewn directly onto the jersey. Woolridge has signed the back of the jersey on his uniform number “0” in black marker and added the inscription "Best Wishes!" Super popular style Nuggets gamer from a former star.
