If one photograph could define the moment the Chicago Bulls dethroned the Detroit Pistons in post-season play, it is this one. Captured during a lull in the on-court action, a smirking Michael Jordan looks on with satisfaction at a very unamused Joe Dumars. Detroit had beaten Chicago in the three previous playoffs, and this sweep of the Pistons in the 1991 Eastern Conference Finals launched the Bulls’ famous dynasty that would win six championships in eight years. The front of the photo has been printed to its edge with sharp color and a small crease in the upper left corner. The reverse has the Photo Sports credit stamp. The photograph measures 8” x 10” and has been encapsulated and graded a Type I by PSA.
