“The Hick from French Lick” Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and three-time NBA Champion Larry Bird was voted to the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team and stands as one of the brightest stars of the modern era and a beloved player in two distinct regions of the country. Presented here is Bird’s Boston Celtics game-worn home jersey from the 1990-91 season.
On the front left tail is a tag that reads "Designed & Tailored Exclusively For BOSTON CELTICS" with additional details including “YEAR 90” SLEEVE LENGTH 0” and “BODY LENGTH +4.”. To the left is a “Champion” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On the right inseam is a tag that reads “100% Polyester”. On the front left chest is an official “NBA” logo embroidered. The white mesh home material features green/white/green trim on the neck and arm opening. “CELTICS” and Bird’s famed number “33” on front/back appears in single green durene. “BIRD” appears on back in green tackle twill sewn directly onto the shirt. This jersey is properly tagged throughout and shows light but appropriate game use. A light autograph from Bird appears on the back number in faded silver marker. The ideal overall traits of this late-career Bird gamer have warranted a perfect A10 grade from MEARS. This is simply a fabulous memento from an incomparable player who won three league MVP awards and led the Boston Celtics to three NBA titles in his Hall of Fame career.
