This lot features a bust of former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln. The 15-inch tall sculpture rests on a two-tiered black vase and was actually presented to former MLB Commissioner Bowie Kuhn by the Union League Club of Chicago. Kuhn served as Baseball Commissioner from 1969 until 1984. On the front of the base rests a gold plaque that reads: PRESENTED TO Bowie Kuhn IN APPRECIATION THE UNION LEAGUE CLUB April 10 1989. The impressive bust weighs just under six pounds.
