Detlef Schrempf was a small forward/power forward who competed for 17 seasons in the NBA including four-and-a-half seasons with theIndiana Pacers. The 6’ 9” right-handed shooter played for a total of four teams and finished with career averages of 13.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Offered here is his Indiana Pacers game-worn road jersey and shorts from the 1989-90 campaign in which he averaged 16.2 points per contest in helping the Pacers notch 42 victories.
The blue mesh Pacers jersey which shows incredible game wear has become a classic from that era with team name on front and playername on back in heat-pressed fashion. The front reads “PACERS” in heat-pressed blue on a yellow background while his last name “SCHREMPF” appears in heat-pressed yellow lettering on the back. His uniform number “11” appears on the front and back in white outlined in yellow. Appropriate size 46 Sand-Knit tagging is located on left front tail with accompanying “Designed and Tailored Exclusively For INDIANA PACERS” tag plus adjacent “89” and “1” LB” white cloth tags saddle-stitched in black. The official embroidered NBA logo patch appearson the left front of the jersey. The unsigned jersey comes all-original withsolid game wear.
The accompanying game-worn blue 100% nylon shorts trimmed in yellow and white are sporting the heat-pressed Indiana Pacers team logo on the bottom left front and show moderate use. Proper Sand Knit tagging (Size “42 “2” HR” and “88”) is present on the rear inside waistband. The original waistband remains intact and the official embroidered NBA logo patch appears on the front right side of the shorts.
