Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. The offered ticket was issued for the first game of an epic October battle between the Dodgers and the A's in 1988. In that memorable October 15 contest an injured Kirk Gibson called upon as a pinch hitter against Dennis Eckersley with one man on base and his team trailing by one in the bottom of the ninth launched a game-winning homer. This was the first time in Series history that a game had been decided on a come-from-behind blast in the final frame and the inspirational sight of Gibson rounding the bases has endured as a permanent high point in baseball lore. Measuring 2" x 7" the $50.00 admission voucher sports the Dodgers' and 1988 World Series logos as well as printed seating and rain check details. VG-EX condition.
