This team-signed baseball commemorates the 1988 Oakland Athletics, who captured the American League pennant behind one of the most dominant rosters of the era. Twenty signatures cover the Official World Series (Ueberroth) baseball, including manager Tony La Russa, Mark McGwire, Jose Canseco, Dennis Eckersley, Carney Lansford, and Walt Weiss, among other key contributors from that championship-caliber squad.

 

The autographs are applied in a mix of blue, black, and purple ink, with most signatures showing strong legibility despite some natural fading consistent with the ball's age. This roster, famously nicknamed the "Bash Brothers" era A's, advanced to the World Series that fall behind one of the most feared lineups in baseball. PSA/DNA has authenticated the full grouping of twenty signatures, giving collectors assurance across this historically significant Oakland Athletics team ball.
