Walter Davis a retired professional basketball player who played 15 season in the NBA including 10 seasons with the Phoenix Suns and four seasons with the Denver Nuggets. This lot features Davis's 1988-89 game-worn and twice-signed Denver Nuggets road uniform when he averaged 15.6 points per game over 81 regular-season contests.
On the left front tail of the jersey is the proper "Sand-K it" manufacturer's tag with size "46." Adjacent to that is another Sand-Knit tag reading: "Designed & Tailored exclusively for the DENVER NUGGETS." To the left of that is a white strip tag with "2" LB: embroidered in black. On the right inseam is the "100% POLYESTER" tag complete with washing instructions included. On the left chest is the official NBA logo embroidered in red white and blue. Across the front reads "Nuggets" in white tackle twill lettering outlined in blue and yellow as is his uniform number "6" in similar fashion on the left chest area. Across the back is the player name "DAVIS" in gold tackle twill on a blue mesh nameplate sewn directly onto the jersey. Davis has signed the back of the jersey in black marker and added the inscription "Sweet D."
The accompanying shorts also include the proper "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's tag on the inner rear waistband with size "36" and the player number "6" written in black marker. To the left of that is another "Sand-Knit" tag reading: "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the DENVER NUGGETS." To the left of that is a white strip tag with the year "88" embroidered in black. On the front left leg is the official NBA logo embroidered in red white and blue. On the right front leg it reads "Denver" in white tackle twill with a blue embroidered outline on gold tackle twill. David has signed the rear waistband in black marker and added the inscription "Sweet D."
