The St. Louis Cardinals made three trips to the World Series during the 1980s winning their first appearance 4 games to 3 over the Milwaukee Brewers in 1982 then falling to the K.C. Royals and Minnesota Twins in 1985 and 1987 respectively. It was a decade dominated by the agility of Ozzie Smith ("The Wizard") the roadrunner-like speed of Vince Coleman and the power hitting of Jack Clark plus the penurious pitching of capable Redbird. Offered here is a ring commemorating the squad's 1987 success. This is a "National League Champions" 10K gold ring (size "13-1/2) with "CTO - A1" engraved in band and featuring a single CZ plus three small red stones within a Busch Stadium design on the face. A Cardinals logo the name "ESPINOSA" a trophy and the season attendance ("3072122") decorate the shanks. The ring is essentially in Nr-Mt as-issued and problem-free condition.
