1987 St. Louis Cardinals 10K Gold National League Championship ring awarded to right fielder Curt Ford. Ford hit .285 in playing 89 Games with the National League Champs. The Cardinals fell to the underdog Minnesota Twins 4 games to 3 in the 1987 Fall Classic. Real diamond at center of a baseball diamond on top with 3 synthetic ruby gemstones in the outfield and "ST. LOUIS CARDINALS" printed below. "NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 1987" circles the top. "FORD" "27" a banner with Cardinals in script and a raised image of the National League Championship Trophy on one side. "3072122" a script St. Louis Cardinals "WORLD SERIES 15" the Cardinal logo and raised images of Busch Stadium and the Gateway Arch on the other. Inside stamped "cTo 10K". Ring size 8. Weight 41 grams.
Included is a jewelers appraisal of the ring.
