Down 10-9 to the Denver Broncos at halftime the G-Men eruptedfor 30 second-half points behind the uber-efficiency of QB Phil Simmswho wasnamed MVP after going 22-for-25 passing with 268 yards and three TD's.His 88% completion percentage set a Super Bowl and postseason record. Of course Lawrence Taylor terrorizing John Elway on defense certainly didn't hurt the cause either.
This particular pendant was issued to the wife of team trainer John Dziegiel. TheLombardi Trophy depicted on the face is comprised of 15 genuinediamonds set on top of a blue sapphire stone with "GIANTS 1986" and "WORLD CHAMPIONS" noted around theperimeter. The reverse is stamped "JOANN DZIEGIEL 1-25-87" and "LGB 10K". Thelovely piece of jewelry is equipped with an elegant gold loop for necklace wear. Overallit weighs 18 grams and is very well-preserved in NM-MT condition. Animportant and extremely scarce championship memento from one of football's mostpopular franchises.
