Presented here is an attractive game-worn and autographed warmup jacket from Mets and Cardinals great Keith Hernandez worn in the 1985 campaign when Hernandez batted .309 as the club challenged their archrival Cardinals in the National League East. The warmup jacket is in spectacular condition sporting the Starter label at the collar (Large) Mets blue and orange chenille embroidery on the NY on the front and orange-and-white embroidered No. 17 on the left shoulder and in his all-caps name on the back. Jacket has orange-and-white knit trim on the waist collar and sleeves; all elements of the jacket are in superb condition including functioning front zipper. A large blue Sharpie Hernandez autograph and 1985 inscription appear on the inside back below the collar; signature is superb but doesnt leap into view because of the blue Sharpie appearing on a Mets blue fabric. Jacket shows game use and is problem-free and without alteration of any description.
