Major League Baseballs great Iron Man Cal Ripken Jr. set the MLB record by playing in 2632 consecutive games during his impressive 21-year career all with the Baltimore Orioles. A two-time American League MVP (1983 and 91) Ripken won one World Series title with the Os in 1983 and was inducted into Cooperstown in 2007.
This lot features a 1985-87 Cal Ripken Jr. autographed and game-worn Baltimore Orioles baseball cap. The well-worn MLB New Era tri-color (orange black and orange) size 7 3/8 baseball cap is sporting the official Oriole logo on the front and includes Ripkens uniform number 8 on the underside of the brim in black marker. Ripken has also signed the underside of the caps brim in blue fine-point marker and added the inscription Best Wishes. His signature is strong and rates 7-8/10 in our book.
Autograph is pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
