After a stunning record at North Carolina, Michael Jordan embarked on an NBA career that made him the greatest basketball player of all time, But, before his NBA fame, Jordan took time out to represent his country at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. Playing alongside future Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing, Jordan led Team USA in scoring and led the team to a Gold Medal against Spain. This Type 1 photo was taken during the Olympic team tryouts and depicts Jordan in his Team USA uniform. The photo has a flaw in the negative to the right of Jordan image. The back has a Chicago Tribune catalog label along with Michael Jordan 84 Olympic Trials in blue marker. 1984 and 1992 date stamps are present as well. The photo has been encapsulated and graded Type 1 Authentic by PSA.
