Offered here is a 1982 ASA Mickey Mantle Story complete boxed set with 72 cards covering the life and career of the New York Yankees legend. The majority are in black & white, with some color images mixed in. Mantle has signed card #1, a color portrait in his road uniform, in bold blue ballpoint ink that has earned a perfect 10 distinction from PSA/DNA. The card itself is graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. All other cards appear NM or better by our standards. A total of 5,000 of these sets were produced and this one is No. 1263 in the edition. The consignor is the original owner who purchased the set back in the 1980s.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
